Julius Caesar; Republic to Emire

How does the Roman republic became an empire?
44 ac Julius Caesar was assassinated by a group of senators that he thought that were his friends. Julius Caesar was a person really intelligent and ambitious; He had a big ego, this gave Rome glory and disaster.

In 1 b.C Rome was a republic. Rome was really stable for 400 years; it was like an empire without emperor. It had senators, officials, laws, and at the top of their society was a group of people that, like in all hierarchies, wanted fame and glory. Romans were people who wanted power, they were ambitious, but this was like the motor that impulse Rome to the empire. Just to gain honor and prestige, the Romans built a very large city.

The balance the romance reached is impressive. They maintained Rome a lot of time without a leader for all Rome. This was incredible, but Rome was growing a lot very fast; this broke the balance. Julius Caesar little by little started to outstand from the other on the upper group. He knew that he could change the old laws and make a big change in Rome. Whit all his power and ability, he became the strongest dictator; he was practically the most powerful man in Rome. This made that people wanted to stop him; He became an objective.
When Rome had aristocracy, the last king they had was an tyrant, they made a group and a secret plan to exile him; Romans were afraid to be governed, once again, by only one man; Because of this they made a conspiracy against Julius Caesar. It was supposed that the conspiracy was going to be very silent. The betrayal had to be very well planned; but it went out of control and it was very bloody and wild.  Julius Caesar was assassinated on March 15 by 23 stabbings in the senate building.
With this conspiracy and assassination is how the Roman Empire starts.
